ADDING YOUR TRIPS
First, you’ll need to get to a computer. We don’t recommend trying to do this on a phone or a tablet without a keyboard.
For consistency of listings, please list dive trip information exactly as shown. You can ignore the areas with red X’s. Click the images to enlarge them.
- UNTITLED EVENT: Enter the name of your organization (sentence case) with phone number next, using this format: (000) 000-0000
- DATES: Time of dive (start time, plus 4 hours.)
- ALL DAY / REPEAT CHECK BOXES: Don’t pick “all day”. Show start / stop times. For “Repeats” see section below.
- WHERE: Meeting address – for Google Maps to work
- VIDEO CALL: Ignore
- CALENDAR: Pick Scuba Schedules, if not already selected
- DESCRIPTION: Location, in UPPER case, followed by number of tanks, followed by type of Dive (wreck / reef / shore / night etc.)
eg. WEST PALM BEACH, 2-tank, boat dive to reef / wreck. Then write your own blurb underneath – but keep it short and sweet (about 50 words max).
The rest you can leave. Just click “Save” at the top in red and wait for the calendar to refresh. Note: The main Scuba Schedules calendar auto-refreshes periodically so you may not see your calendar changes appear right away. If you see no changes after an hour, please email us at: Help@ScubaSchedules.com.
Please do NOT add attachments, guests, change event colors, or mess with any of the other settings please, or things can get real screwy, real fast. Your co-operation is appreciated!~

ADDING REPEAT DIVES
Once you’ve done your first calendar entry, it just gets easier. To add new listings, you can “duplicate” one that you already have set up. This will save you having to type in your business name, phone number and address etc. Then just change the dates, times and modify the type of dive and you’re all set. To duplicate a dive, use the “More Actions” drop down button at the top of the page. You can add dives up to 6 months in the future.

A NOTE ON PRICING
At this time, we are not asking for pricing to be included. This is deliberate. Although this might be great for the consumer it is not our goal to drive competition. We know the margins are thin enough already. Our goal is to provide accurate information. We want every one big or small, new or old, to have a presence. The calendars work best when everyone is involved. More data equals a more valuable site, which equals more website traffic, which drives customer enquiries to everyone.

HO– USEKEEPING: CALENDAR RULES
By adding your calendar, you agree to the following:
Scuba only: No fishing trips or dedicated snorkeling trips please.
No advertising: of courses or training etc. Inexpensive advertising space is available on all regional pages in the right-hand sidebar. (Contact: Ads@ScubaSchedules.com for more information.)
Availability & Accuracy: All trips added to the Scuba Schedules calendar must be publicly available at the time of uploading. If a trips becomes unavailable or times change, please edit it. For ScubaSchedules.com to maintain its reputation and drive traffic, accuracy in the calendars is key.
Max Trips Per Day: To avoid calendar bloating and causing slow loading times, we are requesting each shop to list only ONE event per day. If you run a morning and afternoon schedule, please pick one or the other, and then refer to your other trips for the day in the description, eg. “We run 2 boats every morning and 2 boats every the afternoon. Call for more info.”
Attachments: Please do not add attachments or custom links to the calendar at this time as these can slow the calendar loading times significantly. We are working on speeding up loading times so that we can add this feature soon.
Link to Scuba Schedules: Our calendar is free, so long as an approved, discrete link to our site appears somewhere on your website. If you prefer not to link, then the monthly calendar fee of $45 would apply. Please contact us if you would prefer this option.
Violation of these guidelines may result in the removal of your calendar.
