SCUBA DIVING In South East Florida Has Everything.

If you like the big pelagics… You’ve come to the right place.

West Palm Beach, Blue Heron Bridge, Boynton Beach, Deerfield, Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood and Miami.

You can’t beat this stretch of Florida coast for scuba diving with goliath grouper, all manner of sharks – including the annual lemon shark migration and of course, loggerhead turtles.

The West Palm Beach area also plays host to scuba diving at the famous Blue Heron Bridge at Phil Foster Park, a unique ‘beach’ dive where you can dive in fifteen to twenty feet of water and seek out the smaller wonders of the ocean, from tiny sea horses, to octopus, to lobster, shrimp and nudibranches. You can even night dive here, once you get a pass for the parking lot.

An unbelievable number of scuba charters are also available on this stretch of coastline, each offering to whisk you away for a few hours of bubble blowing. You’ll find charters for scuba diving in West Palm Beach, Blue Heron Bridge, Boynton Beach, Delray Beach, Pompano Beach, Boca Raton, Hollywood, Deerfield, Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood and Miami.

Most of the scuba diving charters are reputable and will offer a somewhat similar service. However, there are important differences. Some boats are very large, offering more space and some shade (but can be “cattle class” on busy days), while “six-packs” while smaller, may offer more flexibility in terms of custom destinations and provide for a more personal dive experience.

In short, scuba diving in south east Florida offers something for every diver, from beginner to advanced. Check out the Scuba Schedules calendar to find all the the best diving.

Remember to get to the dock/shop early – and tell them that Scuba Schedules sent you.
